Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho has made his debut for Premier League club Leicester City on Friday night, August 4, but he only lasted for 17th minutes on the pitch.
The Super Eagles forward set up Jamie Vardy for the winner after being introduced in the second half as Leicester City defeated Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1 in a pre-season friendly game.
Iheanacho was in pain on the pitch after injuring his ankle before being taken out of the match to the disappointment of Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare.

”I am still finding out because I don’t know the nature of his injury, but this is not a good development for a player we just signed as we are looking forward to the start of the new season,” Craig explained.
Meanwhile, Kelechi Iheanacho’s latest development will be a serious headache for Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr ahead of Nigeria’s World Cup qualifying match against African champions Cameroon.
